Nimaya Appoints John de Wit to Position of CEO de Wit brings over thirty years of world-class industry leadership experience to Nimaya
FAIRFAX, Virginia – May 25, 2006 - Nimaya Inc., a leading provider of revenue maximization applications, today announced the appointment of John de Wit as its Chief Executive Officer.
de Wit brings over thirty years of experience in technology leadership to Nimaya. He has held numerous board seats and senior positions in sales, marketing, development, general management and international operations. Prior to Nimaya, de Wit was Executive Vice President, Sales, for iLumin Software Services Inc., and was instrumental in that company’s acquisition by CA in 2005. Prior to iLumin, he was Senior Vice President, Marketing and Business Development at MainControl Inc., and helped lead that company to its eventual acquisition by MRO Software. Earlier in his career, de Wit worked with Candle Corporation (acquired by IBM), Synon Corporation (acquired by Sterling Software), Morino Associates (IPO) which became Legent Corporation (acquired by CA) and IBM. Additionally, de Wit’s experience in international operations including coverage of Asia Pacific, Europe and Central/South America will greatly assist Nimaya with its global expansion plans.
